Psalm 19:14
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord my strength and my redeemer.
The song “Ever Be" ("Your praise shall ever be on my lips”) has been going over and over in my head this week, along with the lyrics to the old Andre Crouch song "My Tribute" (“all that I am, or ever hope to be – I owe it all to Thee – To God be the glory!”)
I wish I lived with a song of praise in my heart every day, because I know that’s what really pleases the Lord. It is vital that the words/songs of my mouth come out in praise and are a reflection of my meditation on the Lord. Meditation that confirms to me His trustworthiness, His love for us, His constant care for us – confirming Him as my source of strength and our redemption.
Be encouraged today – as we surrender our hearts, our mouth and the meditations of our heart to the Lord – His praise will ever be on our lips and our hearts will stay in tune!! We have so much to praise Him for!
Live praising!!
